Demand Planner at New Balance
Amy works at New Balance as a Demand Planner which is part of the company’s Value Chain Organization. As a Demand Planner she manages the North American forecast for the Performance Running business unit division. She supports the S&OP processes through coordination and consultation with sales, merchandising and marketing, and drives the integrated demand planning process to ensure cross-functional collaboration and execution of the business’ objectives. Her SMG concentration was in Marketing, but as a more right brained thinker she found herself more attracted to operations planning, and has worked in the consumer product goods/retail industry for the past 6 years. Prior to New Balance she spent three years as a Global Demand Planner for Burton Snowboards in Burlington, VT. Amy is a Massachusetts native having grown up in Berkshires in the western part of the state. Outside of work Amy is a catalyst for movement. She loves being outside no matter the season. In the winter you will find her on the mountain snowboarding and in the summer she loves to run, bike along the Charles and enjoy all that Boston has to offer. Last year she ran her first Boston Marathon, and hopefully not her last!

After school, she worked for various retailers moving her way up into management and eventually to the corporate level as a buyer. She found Trunk Club nearly three years ago and flourished under the entrepreneurship, growth, and development opportunities while working in Chicago and opening up both the NYC and Boston offices.
