Last Tuesday, we were excited to kick off our Spring Semester with Food & Fashion! Dressing professionally is a skill that every aspiring worker should master. However, it is often one of the most contradictory and complicated areas for women to learn since we have so many different style choices to choose from everyday.
By the end of this post, you’ll be an expert on how to dress appropriately for Business Professional, Business Casual, Fashionable/Creative Business, and Smart or Dressy Casual.

Big take-away: While there are fundamental rules when it comes to dressing appropriately for the work place, some of these rules should be taken with a grain of salt. Each workplace and work culture varies, so as a general rule, you should dress appropriately for your job. In some work environments the dress code may even vary from team to team.
However, conservative dress is appreciated during interviews and typically the first day of work; unless you already know that your office is casual.
